Q. What will I need to bring with me to open an account?
You will need documents that show your legal name, physical street address, and date of birth. (Drivers License or state-issued ID). You will need to know your social security number or TIN.

Download the First State Bank app from the App Store or Android App store. Once downloaded, use your online banking username and password to access your balance, transfer money, view eStatements, and much more!

Q. How do I sign up for eStatements?
It's easy and free! At account opening we will make sure your account is ready with the eStatement feature. If you elected to have paper statements and now want eStatements, call or visit your local branch and we can help you!
Q. How do I access my eStatement?
As long as you have the mobile app you are able to access your eStatements at anytime, anywhere! All you have to do is log into the app and select Statements from the menu options. If it is your first time accessing the statement, you will be asked to verify you were able to view the statement.
If you access the statement via Online Banking, you will go to the "additional services" menu and select statements. If it is your first time accessing the statement, you will be asked to verify you were able to view the statement.
Q. I'm confused about needing eStatements. What technology do I need in order to get eStatements?
As long as you have a mobile phone you can access your eStatements. You may view your eStatement on any computer or tablet by accessing online banking, or by using the mobile app on your smart phone.

Yes! With our easy to access eStatement feature, you will be able to view your eStatements from anywhere with your mobile phone. With our MasterCard Debit Cards, you will also have the ability to receive text alerts about transactions and even "pause" your card if you suspect it has been lost or stolen.
